Customs on personal parcels

Since February 2026, a 16% sales tax applies to personal parcels with a customs value of 200 JOD or less, replacing the customs duty that applied before. This is a general Jordanian tax rule, applied to any personal parcel in that category regardless of which store you ordered from.

What this means for your Bayatoo order

The price you approve when you confirm your order with Bayatoo is the amount required for that order, and nothing is added to it after confirmation. You don't need to calculate the tax yourself, and there's no surprise amount at delivery. Cash on delivery carries no extra fee, and there's no additional service fee.
